Tarique Rahman stands by families of July uprising martyrs, injured in Badda

DHAKA, Jan 16, 2025 (BSS) - A delegation of 'Amra BNP Paribar' today provided financial assistance to July uprising martyrs and injured in Badda-Rampura area here at a simple ceremony Lutfun Tower in Badda.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed conveyed a message of sympathy to families of eight martyrs and five injured on behalf of BNP acting Chairman and Amra BNP Paribar chief patron Tarique Rahman, said a press release.

Organization's convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon, adviser Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, member secretary agriculturalist Moksedul Momin Mithun, members Masud Rana Liton and Farhad Ali Sajib were present.

BNP's Microfinance Secretary MA Qayum, Economic Affairs Assistant Secretary Mahmudur Rahman Sumon, former Acting President of Dhaka City North AGM Shamsul Haque, Swechchhasebak Dal Vice-President Dr. Jahidul Kabir, Acting Convener of Badda Thana BNP Abdul Quader Babu, Joint Convener Emdadul Haque Emdad, Swechchhaebak Dal leader Tushar, Chhatra Dal Vice-President Dr. Touhidur Rahman Awal, former Vice-President Jamil Hossain, Joint Secretary Hasanur Rahman, Private University Chhatra Dal leader Mashiur Rahman Mohan, Dhaka College Chhatra Dal leader Misbah and leaders of Badda-Bhatara Thana BNP were also present.

Financial assistance was provided to eight martyred families and medical assistance and wheelchairs were provided to five injured people at the event.
