BNP exchanges views with minority ethnic leaders

DHAKA, Jan 18, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) held a views-exchange meeting with minority ethnic leaders at the party chairperson's Gulshan office this afternoon.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, chairperson’s advisory council member and Hindu Buddhist Christian Welfare Front Chairman Bijan Kanti Sarkar and representatives of minority ethnic communities attended the meeting.

Mirza Fakhrul said equal opportunities should be created for all citizens on the basis of the Bangladeshi nationalism philosophy of founder of multi-party democracy Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman. 

He urged all to work together for development of the backward communities.

Assuring the minority ethnic leaders, he said, “We’re always with you. I urge you all to continue work from your respective position.”
