Ctg AL leader sent to jail in explosive case

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 20, 2025 (BSS) - A Chattogram court today sent Abdul Latif Tipu, an executive committee member of the city unit of Awami League (AL), to jail in a case filed under the Explosive Act.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kazi Mizanur Rahman passed the order after police produced him before the court.

Deputy Commissioner of CMP Raish Uddin said a team of Kotwali police arrested Tipu from a house located in the city's Kazir Dewri Battery Gali area in the early hours of today.
