DAB member provide treatment to uprising injured at Tarique Rahman’s directive

DHAKA, Jan 20, 2025 (BSS)- At the directives of BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, noted orthopaedic surgeon and a member of Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) Dr Shah Mohammad Amanullah treated two injured persons of July movement free of cost.

Injured student Md Anwarul Azim and driver Sumon Hawlader received the treatment at a private hospital in the capital today, said a press release.

Amra BNP Paribar Member Secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun and Joint Secretary of Private University Unit of Chhatra Dal Mashiur Rahman Mohan were present.

Anwarul Azim sustained bullet injury during July uprising on August 4 and driver Sumon Howlader received injury on July 19 in Rampura.

They were undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the capital.
 
Today, special medical treatment was provided to them and they were also assured of providing better treatment in future if required.
