BNP to hold extended meeting in Dhaka on Feb 27

DHAKA, Feb 16, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold an extended meeting in the capital on February 27 (Thursday).

The extended meeting will be held in the capital on February 27 (Thursday). However, the venue of the meeting has not yet been finalized.

"The venue of the meeting has not been confirmed yet," said the party's senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at a press conference at BNP’s  central office in Nayapaltan   this afternoon.

It was disclosed in the press conference   that 27-member committee has been formed with Ruhul Kabir Rizvi as its convener.
Besides;   six sub-committees have been formed to implement the extended meeting.
 Rizvi   told the press conference that the leaders of the BNP's National Standing Committee and Central Executive Committee will participate in the extended meeting.

Members of the Chairperson's Advisory Council, District BNP Presidents, Conveners and General Secretaries, Member Secretaries; Upazila, Thana and Municipal BNP Presidents, Conveners and General Secretaries, Member Secretaries, Presidents, Conveners and General Secretaries, Member Secretaries of 11 central front organizations,  associate bodies and BNP candidates with the paddy sheaf symbol in the 2018's 11th parliamentary elections and candidates of the party who  received primary nominations will participate in the meeting , he added.
