SATKHIRA, Feb 17, 2025 (BSS) – Police today arrested Deputy Publicity and Publication Secretary of Satkhira district Awami League (AL) Pranab Ghosh Babul from Tala upazila.

Babul also the Chairman of Khalilnagar Union Parisad and a teacher of Shaheed Muktijoddha College went into hiding since August 5. 

Officer-In-Charge of Tala Police Station Md Shahinur Rahman confirmed the news to media. He said the district AL leader was arrested under a regular extortion case.

Pranab Ghosh Babul was produced to court and later the court sent him to jail.
