Rizvi for forging unity again against criminals

DHAKA, Mar 10, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed today called upon all those joined movement against the ousted Awami League regime to forge unity again against criminals.

“Women are not safe anywhere now. Therefore, everyone must be united against criminals who commit heinous crimes like rape of women and children,” he told a rally of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal in front of BNP’s Nayapaltan central office here protesting child rape in Magura.

Following the rally, a procession was brought out from Naya Paltan, which ended at Nightingale Restaurant intersection after parading different city thoroughfares.

Mohila Dal president Afroza Abbas presided over the rally, which was moderated by Mohila Dal’s City South unit general secretary Shahinur Nargis.

Halima Arli, vice-president of the Mohila Dal, Shahana Akhtar Shanu, joint general secretary, Ruma Akhtar, president of the organisation’s north city unit, and Luna Laila, member secretary of the south city unit, were also present.
