ACC files cases against Captain Shariful Ahsan

DHAKA, Mar 11, 2025 (BSS) - Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against former Mongla Port Authority Captain Md Shariful Ahsan on charges of acquiring wealth inconsistent with his known income source.

ACC Assistant Director (Public Relations) Tanjir Ahmed today said Shariful abused his power and acquired ownership of immovable/movable property worth around Taka 79 lakh inconsistent with the known source of his income through various corrupt activities and kept it in his possession, committing a punishable offense under ACC rules.

He made those illegal activities while he was holding various positions in Khulna.

ACC Assistant Director Swapan Kumar Roy filed the case.
