DINAJPUR, March 15, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB-28) in a drive
arrested an alleged drug peddler with 10,870 pieces of intoxication injection
from Choutha border area under Birampur upazila of the district today.

The arrested was Nur Alam Sahin, 35, son of Solim Uddin, a resident of
Bakunda village of the upazila.

On a tip-off, a team of the BGB conducted a drive in the frontier area around
12.30 pm and arrested Nur Alam with the injections from a Litchi orchard,
said Lieutenant Colonel ABM Zahidul Islam, commander of Dinajpur Phulbari
BGB-28 Battalion.

A case was filed with Birampur Police Station in this connection.
