DHAKA, March 15, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a
miscreant with one foreign-made revolver and 38 rounds of bullets in the
capital's Mohammadpur area.

The arrestee was identified as Md Rifatul Islam alias Rony, 28, said a media
release of RAB here today.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the RAB-2 conducted a raid in the Mohammadpur
Chandrima Uddyan and nabbed Rony with the firearm and bullets.

Sensing the presence of the forces, his cohorts managed to escape the scene.

RAB, however, also recovered one motorcycle, a smartphone and bank card from
his possession.

The arrested person and the seized goods were handed over to the Mohammad
Police Station, the release added.
