Persons injured in mass uprising receive Eid gifts

DHAKA, March 25, 2025 (BSS) - People who sustained injuries during the student-led mass uprising last July and are currently undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) have received Eid gift. 

Association of Engineers Bangladesh (AEB) former executive committee members today distributed the Eid gifts among 122 injured people as per the directive of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, said a press release.

BNP's Joint Secretary General and 'Sobar Age Bangladesh' President Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee addressed the event as the chief guest, while BNP Dhaka city north unit convener Aminul Haque was present as special guest.

AEB former secretary general Alamgir Hashin Ahmed, 'Amra BNP Paribar' adviser Engineer Mostafa-e-Jaman Selim, Engineer Niaz Uddin Bhuiyan, Engineer Motahar Hossain, Engineer Mohammad Helal Uddin Talukder, Engineer KM Asaduzzaman Chunnu, Engineer Tanbirul Hasan Tomal, Engineer Shamim Rabbi Sanchay, Engineer Shafiqul Islam Khoka, Engineer Sejan Ahmed, Engineer Abdullah Al Mamun, Engineer Ahsan Russell, Engineer Kamrul Hasan Saiful, Engineer Sabbir Ahmed Osmani, Engineer Nur Amin Lalon, Engineer Zahirul Islam Johnny and Engineer Md. Anwar Hossain Rony, among others, were present.
