ICSB celebrates Independence Day

DHAKA, March 26, 2025 (BSS) - Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has observed the 55th Independence Day with due solemnity and significance.

To mark the day, the Dhaka Regional Chapter (DRC) Sub-Committee of ICSB organized a series of programs, according to a press release. 

The day commenced with the hoisting of the national flag in the morning, followed by a dua mahfil and a special discussion session on the Independence Day. 

AKM Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, Vice President of ICSB, paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War of 1971. He emphasized their sacrifices and said that the contribution of the Freedom Fighters enabled Bangladesh to secure its place on the world map. 

Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Treasurer of ICSB, highlighted the significance of Independence Day and honored the martyrs' sacrifices. He also thanked all attendees. 

Sheikh Azizul Haque FCS, Chairman of DRC, moderated the event.
