CHATTOGRAM, March 26, 2025 (BSS) - BNP acting Chairman and Chief Patron of 'Amra BNP Paribar' Tarique Rahman has stood beside the extremely poor Gias Uddin and his family.

Gias Uddin, who leads a very distressed life with ailments, lives in Shamukchhari village, a hill town in Dhopachhari union at Chandanaish upazila in the district.

A delegation of 'Amra BNP Paribar' went to the house of Gias Uddin at Chandanaish upazila and conveyed a message of Tarique Rahman to him this morning.

Led by 'Amra BNP Paribar' convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon, the delegation included organization's adviser Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, adviser Md Abul Kashem, member secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun, senior member Masud Rana Liton and journalist Zahidul Islam Rony.

Financial assistance was also given to him on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

Tarique Rahman asked the persons concerned of his party to make arrangements to start immediate treatment of Gias Uddin alongside building a pucca house for living.
