DMP files 1,850 cases for violating traffic rules

DHAKA, June 3, 2025(BSS) - The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 1,850 cases over traffic rule violations across the capital on Monday.
 This information was confirmed in a press release today signed by Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Media and Public Relations Division) of the DMP.

124 vehicles were dumped and 92 others were wrecked during the drive, said the release.

The DMP information further said the drive will continue to bring discipline to Dhaka's streets.
