DHAKA, June 3, 2025 (BSS) - A Dhaka court today imposed a travel ban on journalist Munni Saha, her husband Md Kabir Hossain, her mother Appel Rani Saha, and her brothers Topon Kumar Saha and Pronob Kumar Saha in connection with graft allegations.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, allowing a plea from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

In its plea, the anti-graft body said Munni Saha and her family members, including her husband and MS Promotions owner Md Kabir Hossain, are accused of amassing illegal wealth.

"The ACC is probing the allegations, and the accused may try to flee the country to evade justice at this stage. So, a travel ban should be imposed on them immediately," the plea added.
