DHAKA, June 3, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today ordered to attach plots and
flats of ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina's defence and security adviser
Tarique Ahmed Siddique, his wife Shaheen Siddique and daughter Nurin Siddique
over graft allegations.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the
order, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

Confirming the matter to newsmen, ACC Deputy Director (Public Relations)
Akterul Islam said the court ordered to attach a seven-storey house in
Baridhara DOHS, three flats in the same area, two 3,600 Sq Ft each flats with
four car parking spaces, four five-katha plots in Purbachal and one plot in
Bashundhara residential area.

The ACC in its plea said the commission is investigating allegations of
amassing huge illegal wealth against Siddique and his family members and
learned that the accused are trying to hand over the properties to evade
justice.

"So, the properties should be attached immediately," the plea added.

Earlier on May 14, the same court ordered to freeze 13 bank accounts of
Tarique Ahmed Siddique and his family members.
