NARAIL, June 13, 2025 (BSS) - A prayer and discussion meeting was held in Lohagara upazila of the district marking the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman. 

Organised by the upazila and municipality units of BNP, the meeting was held on the premises of the Lohagara Government Pilot High School in Narail this noon.

Presided over by Lohagara Upazila BNP President Ahaduzzaman Batu, the meeting was attended by Narail district BNP president and party's central executive committee member Biswas Jahangir Alam as the chief guest.

Narail district BNP general secretary Md Monirul Islam addressed the function as main discussant.

BNP leaders Advocate Mahbub Morshed Japal, Tipu Sultan, valiant freedom fighter Mustafizur Rahman Alek, Mozahidur Rahman Palash, Sultanuzzaman Selim, Milu Sharif, Khandaker Fosiar Rahman, Asaduzzaman, Shahriar Rizvi George, Saleha Begumm, Manjurul Sayed Babu, Mawlana Tayebur Rahman and Fardi Bishwas were present, among others, on the occasion.
