Juba League leader arrested with gun in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Aug 30, 2025 (BSS) - Joint forces have detained a Juba League leader and recovered a one shooter rifle from his possession in the Chowdhury Para area under Ward No 2 of Chandanaish Purasavha in the district.
 
On information, a team of the armed forces led by Captain Ibtisum Jawad Diyab apprehended local Juba League leader Mizan, 30, son of Md Anowar Hossain of the same locality and seized a one shooter rifle from his possession. 

Chandanaish police said Mizan is an accused in 2 criminal cases and has a travel ban abroad.
