People want a desired change in country: Selim Uddin

DHAKA, Sept 1, 2025 (BSS) - Mohammad Selim Uddin, member of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Ameer of Dhaka North City, today said that the people of Bangladesh are yearning for a desired change.

"People of the country expect that it will move forward through reforms in the political system," he said.

He made these remarks this morning while addressing a gathering of polling centre representatives of the Dhaka-18 constituency as the chief guest.

The meeting was presided over by constituency director and central working committee member Md. Jamal Uddin and conducted by Mahbubul Alam, assistant director of the Uttara West region. Professor Ashraful Haque was present at the event as special guest.

Selim Uddin emphasized the need to confront all conspiracies against Bangladesh. He also urged party activists to spread the noble message of Islam to every household.
