1,63,028 cases so far disposed of through ADR system

DHAKA, Oct 04, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 1,63,028 cases have been so far disposed of through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) system under the National Legal Aid Services Organization (NLASO) project of the government.

According to the reports published in the website of the organization, these services were given from 2009 to August this year. Of the total, 1,61,113 cases were resolved through 64 district legal aid service offices and 1915 cases were disposed of through the labourers legal aid cells in Dhaka and Chattogram.

A total of 1,82, 172 cases were submitted to the NLASO offices during the time for ADR, the reports said, adding that a total of 3,15,530 people were so far benefited through this system.
A total of 12,82,997 people were given legal aid services during the time, the report added.

The NLASO has been providing such legal assistance to the poor and insolvent people of the country with government cost under the supervision of the Law and Justice Division of the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry.
