Two RU teachers debarred from academic activities

RAJSHAHI, Nov 24, 2025 (BSS) - The Rajshahi University (RU) authorities have debarred two of its teachers from academic and departmental activities until the completion of an investigation into allegations brought against them by their students.

RU sources stated that the teachers are Assistant Professors Saju Sardar and Tanzil Bhiuiyan of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

The decision was taken yesterday on the basis of recommendations by the first meeting of the inquiry committee formed to investigate the allegations and the consequent situation caused by the other relevant allegations.
