Judge Md Sabbir Faiz of Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Court passed the order, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The petition stated that Mohammad Belal Hossain Chowdhury, while serving as a public servant, did not disclose in his wealth statement submitted to the ACC the illegally obtained assets worth Taka 4.60 crore.
