DHAKA, Dec 12, 2025 (BSS) - The Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn) has arrested two people with a huge quantity of devices at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The arrestees are Shaharun Ali, 38, and Md Iqbal Hossain Jibon, 35, the airport APBn official said here today.
Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mozammel Haque, operational commander of the Airport Armed Police Battalion, said the armed police arrested them based on secret information and brought to its office.
He said the APBn also recovered 76 pieces of digital electronic spy devices, 50 pieces of earpieces, three pieces of laptops and six pieces of mobile phone sets from their possessions.
During preliminary interrogation, the arrested persons said that Shahrun Ali, 38, brought devices from China by evading customs duty, Haque said.
A case was filed against them with Airport Police Station today.
