DHAKA, Dec 18, 2025 (BSS) - The government has appointed an administrator to the Bangladesh Chemists and Druggists Samity.

According to an office order issued by the Ministry of Commerce, the ministry has appointed Mahmudul Hasan, Director (Joint Secretary) of the Export Promotion Bureau, as the Administrator of the Bangladesh Chemists and Druggists Samity under Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act, 2022, 

The administrator has been instructed to hold a free, fair and neutral election within 120 days and to hand over responsibilities to the duly elected committee upon completion of the election process. 

The Ministry of Commerce will be informed after the transfer of charge, the order added.
