DHAKA, Jan 23, 2026 (BSS) - A total of 278 people were arrested across the country in several joint military operations conducted from January 16 to 22, the Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) said here today.

According to an ISPR press release, the operations also led to the seizure of 22 illegal firearms, 822 rounds of ammunition, seven cocktails, home-made weapons, and various local and imported narcotics.
