BHOLA, Feb 2, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman and BNP-nominated candidate for Bhola-1 constituency Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partho today pledged to transform Bhola into the southern region's ‘Tilottama’ (modern and beautiful) city if he gets elected in the February 12 national parliamentary election.

Partho, however, enlisted construction of the Bhola-Barishal Bridge, establishment of a medical college and provision of household gas connections as his top priorities.

He unveiled the plan at an election rally at the East Ilisha Nizamuddin High School ground.

If the BNP-led alliance is voted to power, visible and sustainable development will be ensured, he said, adding that BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has special focus on this region.

Chaired by Ilisha union BNP President Md. Siraj Sikder, the meeting was addressed by central and local leaders of both BNP and BJP.

Partho urged voters to support the 'Garur Gari' (bullock cart) symbol to ensure the district's peace and progress.
