CHATTOGRAM, Feb 26, 2026 (BSS)- A restaurant named Kacchi Dine in Chawkbazar area was fined Taka 3 lakh by a mobile court for preparing food in unhygienic condition. 
 
The court, led by Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Sonia Haque, in a drive found evidence of cockroaches and rats infesting the kitchen. 

The restaurant's kitchen and raw material storage were also found unhygienic with a damp floor and nasty conditions. 

Mobile court found many other irregularities of the restaurant including not keeping purchase receipts, lacking health certificates of food workers, and using incomplete labels on their 'Mawa' product.
