Induction training for newly recruited scientists, officers held at BRRI

DHAKA, Feb 26, 2026 (BSS)- Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) arranged an induction training programme today for the newly recruited scientists and officers.

The training workshop was held at the conference room of the Training Division of BRRI.

BRRI Director General Dr. Mohammad Khalequzzaman inaugurated the training session in the morning.

BRRI Director (Research) Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Director (Administration & Common Services) Dr. Munnujan Khanam, Head of the Rice Farming Systems Division and President of the BRRI Scientists' Association Dr. Md. Ibrahim, Chief Scientific Officer and Head of the Agronomy Division Dr. Md. Abu Bakar Siddique Sarker, and Senior Scientific Officer of the Adaptive Research Division Dr. Muhammad Habibur Rahman Mukul, among others, spoke on the occasion.

All divisional heads of BRRI were present at the inaugural session and BRRI Senior Assistant Director (Administration) Kawsar Ahmad conducted the programme.

Following the inaugural session, the newly recruited scientists and officers visited various divisions of the Institute.
