CHANDPUR, March 5, 2026 (BSS) - The BNP-backed 'Ainjibi Oikya' Panel has been elected unopposed in the Chandpur District Bar Association election as no rival panel remained in the race.

Advocate Md Shamsul Islam Montu was elected president and Advocate Zakir Hossain Faisal general secretary.

Chief Election Commissioner Advocate Babar Bepari announced the results at the Bar Association auditorium this afternoon.

Returning Officers Advocate Jasim Uddin, Mehedi Hasan and members of the election management committee, among others, were present.
