RAB arrests man with 298 bottles of ESKuf in Lalmonirhat

RANGPUR, April 4, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized 298 bottles of phensedyl-like ESKuf syrup and arrested an alleged drug dealer from Ratipur Fatangtari village under Sadar police station of Lalmonirhat district on Friday.
 
On a tip-off, a join team of the RAB-13 from Rangpur and RAB-3 from Dhaka in a raid seized the contraband drugs and arrested the man from the spot at 2 am, said a press release today signed by RAB-13's Senior Assistant Director (Media) and Additional Superintendent of Police Biplab Kumar Goswami.
 
The arrestee was identified as Md Mokshed, 52, son of late Abed Ali of Ratipur Fatangtari village under Sadar police station of Lalmonirhat district.
 
After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the arrested person and seized drugs to Sadar police station of Lalmonirhat for further legal action.
