36 crime suspects held in Tejgaon in 24hrs

DHAKA, April 4, 2026 (BSS) - The Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested a total of 36 individuals in the last 24 hours in connection with various offences.

According to sources within the division, the drive was conducted on Saturday as part of routine operations.

Among those arrested, three were held in regular cases, two in connection with previous cases, and one was apprehended based on an arrest warrant. 

Additionally, 30 individuals were detained under the DMP Ordinance.

Police officials said such drives will continue in an effort to curb crime and maintain law and order in the capital.
