Eid aid distributed from PM’s relief fund in Narail

NARAIL, March 18, 2026 (BSS) - Financial assistance from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund was distributed among poor and underprivileged residents of Narail Sadar Upazila and Lohagora Upazila ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The distribution programme was held at 10:00 am on Wednesday at the premises of Maizpara Degree College in Narail Sadar Upazila. It was organized by the Upazila Administration and chaired by Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer T M Rahsin Kabir.

Member of Parliament for Narail-2 constituency, Ataur Rahman Bacchu, attended the event as the chief guest.

According to sources, a total of Tk 10 lakh from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund is being distributed equally among poor, helpless and distressed people across 198 wards in 20 unions and two municipalities under the Narail-2 constituency.

In addition, 700 sarees provided by the fund are being distributed among disadvantaged women in the area.
