DHAKA, March 29, 2026 (BSS) - In order to cope with the situation created by
the instability of fuel oil in the global market, Palli Karma-Sahayak
Foundation (PKSF) has decided to reduce fuel consumption by 50 percent.

This decision will be applicable to all officials including the Chairman and
the Managing Director (MD) of PKSF, said a press release here today.

In the existing situation, several steps have been taken to use public
transport instead of office vehicles and to conduct official activities in
the most energy-efficient way possible.

As part of these, PKSF officials at all levels will use public transport
instead of office vehicles to commute for official work in Dhaka and outside
Dhaka.

In addition, instructions have been given to use air conditioners (AC) in
office buildings to a limited extent and to exercise restraint in electricity
consumption.
