Three held with 2,600 Yaba tablets in Uttara

DHAKA, April 30, 2026 (BSS) - Police arrested three alleged drug traffickers along with 2,600 pieces of Yaba tablets from Abdullahpur area under Sector-9 of Uttara in the capital today.

A team of Uttara Paschim Thana Police, acting on a tip-off, conducted a raid at Tahsin CNG Pump and its adjoining areas in Abdullahpur and arrested the trio.

The arrestees were identified as Jasim Uddin, 36, Iman Ali, 38, and Samidul Islam, 26.

Police recovered 2,600 Yaba tablets from their possession during the drive.

A case has been filed with Uttara Paschim Thana in this connection.
