KHAGRACHARI, April 30, 2026 (BSS) - The prolonged fuel shortage in Khagrachhari has largely come to an end, with supply returning to normal since last night, bringing much-needed relief to residents and drivers.

A visit to several petrol pumps across the town this morning revealed a significant improvement in the situation. The long queues that had become a common sight over the past month were no longer visible. Vehicles were seen refueling without delays, and fuel was readily available.

Drivers expressed satisfaction with the improved conditions, saying that they no longer have to wait in long lines to obtain fuel. Easy availability of fuel has eased daily commuting and reduced stress for both private and commercial vehicle operators.

Petrol pump managers confirmed that there is now adequate stock of fuel, ensuring a steady and uninterrupted supply. They expressed hope that the situation will remain stable in the coming days.

The normalization of fuel supply is expected to positively impact transportation and economic activities in the district, which had been disrupted during the crisis.
