Bashundhara Kings extend lead

DHAKA, April 30, 2026 (BSS) - League leader Bashundhara Kings, came from behind, beat Mohammedan Sporting Club by 2-1 goals in the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) held at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla today (Thursday).

In the day's match, Uzbek midfielder Muzaffar Muzaffarov put Mohammedan ahead in the 28th minute but forward Mohammed Foysal Ahmed Fahim restored the parity for Kings in the 45+6th minute of the match.

After the resumption, Brazilian forward Dorielton Gomes sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Kings in the 69th minute of the match. 

The day's win saw, Kings extended their lead further with 34 points from 15 matches while Mohammedan, sitting sixth position in the league table, remained with their previous collection of 17 points playing the same number of matches.
