Brothers, Arambagh Krira Sangha ends 2-2 draw in BFL

DHAKA, April 30, 2026 (BSS) - It was magnificent performance by Brothers Union Club as they came from behind forced Arambagh Krira Sangha to play a 2-2 goal draw in the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) held at Birshrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj today (Thursday). 

The early breakthrough came for Arambagh when Ghanaian forward Kwame Kizito scored the first goal in the 14th minute and his compatriot midfielder Bennash Quansah doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 45+7th minute of the match.

But Brothers Union Club staged a brilliant fight back in the second half as midfielder Mohsin Ahmed reduced the margin scoring the first goal for Brothers in the 51st minute and forward Meraj Pradhan leveled the margin scoring the second goal in the 80th minute of the match.

With the day's outcome, the all-orange Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union Club secured 14 points from 15 matches while Arambagh Krira Sangha also collected 14 points playing the same number of outings.
