JAMALPUR, May 2, 2026(BSS) - State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Rashiduzzaman Millat today inaugurated the 'Natun Kuri Sports' programme at the district hand ball stadium here, following nationwide opening of the young talent hunt event by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Sylhet stadium.
Following the inauguration ceremony, Rashiduzzaman Millat said the government aims to hunt young talents in sports and games across the country, noting education and sports as key components for children in becoming good citizens.
Members of Parliament Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun, AE Sultan Mahmud Babu and Mostafizur Rahman Babul, Superintendent of Police Most Farhana Yesmin, Zilla Parishad Chairman Md Sirazul Haque and sports organizer SM Abdullah Al Fuad Reduan were present at the inaugural ceremony in Jamalpur.
Additional District Magistrate AKM Abdullah Bin Rashid presided over the meeting.
