
DHAKA, May 13, 2026 (BSS) - Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of Bangladesh Md Nurul Islam today visited different offices under the Defence Finance Department (DFD) command as part of the ongoing special service activities marking the 53rd founding anniversary of the CAG office.
As part of the seven-working-day programme being observed from May 11 to May 19, the CAG inspected the activities of SFC (Navy), SFC (Air Force), FC (Army) Pay-1, FC (Army) Pay-2, FC (Army) Log Area, CCDF (Pension and Fund Management) and ACCDF (Army) Civil offices.
Controller General Defence Finance AHM Shamsur Rahman and senior DFD officials, including Dr Tanzina Islam, were present during the visit, said a release of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate this afternoon.
During the visit, the CAG reviewed services related to salary allowances, pension services, provident fund and DSOP bill settlement, one-stop service centres, helpdesks and automation activities, the release added.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the government is working sincerely to ensure quick, transparent and quality services for people by making the service delivery system more humane, technology-based and accountable.
He urged the officials concerned to work with sincerity, professionalism and responsibility to ensure quality services for pensioners and all service recipients.
