DHAKA, May 13, 2026 (BSS) – A theme song was released for Bangladesh PUBG team ahead of global competition.
Bangladesh’s premier esports team, A1 Esports, is set to compete in the PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) South Asia Finals.
The team secured its place in one of South Asia’s biggest PUBG MOBILE tournaments after winning the PUBG MOBILE National Championship for the third consecutive time, said a press release.
To celebrate the team’s representation of Bangladesh on the international stage, its brand partner, Airtel, the youth-focused brand of Robi Axiata PLC, has released a special “Esports Anthem” or theme song. It is the country’s first full-fledged esports theme song released by a brand.
The specially produced track highlights the team’s journey to the PMGO South Asia Finals and Bangladesh’s representation on the global stage.
Airtel has long been the principal brand partner of A1 Esports, with the team also serving as Airtel’s brand ambassador in the esports space.
At the PMGO South Asia Finals, A1 Esports will compete against leading teams from across the region, including India, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Successful teams from the tournament will qualify for the PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO).
The partnership between A1 Esports and Airtel is being seen as an important step for the country’s gaming and esports ecosystem.
Bangladesh’s participation in international esports competitions is expected to create new opportunities for aspiring local gamers.
