PIRGANJ, THAKURGAON, May 26, 2026 (BSS) - Vice-Chancellor of Thakurgaon University Prof Dr Md. Israfil today said that all-out efforts would be made to develop the university into a standard and quality higher education institution.
He said necessary initiatives would be taken to attract students so that they prefer admission to this university over other institutions.
The vice-chancellor made the remarks while addressing a reception ceremony held at the hallroom of Pirganj Press Club in Pirganj this morning.
Among others, patron of the press club and lawmaker of Thakurgaon-3 constituency Zahidur Rahman Zahid, Pirganj Upazila BNP General Secretary Ziaul Islam Zia, Press Club President Zainal Abedin Babul, General Secretary Nosrate Khoda Rana and Mokaddas Milon also spoke at the event.
