DGHS directs proper treatment of patients from Ad-Din Hospital

DHAKA, June 13, 2026 (BSS) – The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has directed government hospitals in Dhaka to provide appropriate treatment to patients referred from Ad-Din Hospital.

The directive was issued through a letter signed by DGHS Director (Hospitals and Clinics) Dr. Abu Hossain Md. Moinul Ahsan yesterday and sent to the directors of all government hospitals in the capital.

According to the letter, the license of Ad-Din Women's Medical College Hospital located at Boro Moghbazar has been cancelled. Under this situation, the authorities concerned have been instructed to provide immediate and appropriate treatment to patients referred from the hospital.

The letter said the directive has been approved by the Director General of Health Services.

Copies of the letter were sent to the directors of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, Mugda Medical College Hospital, Kurmitola General Hospital, and Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute.
