Ramkrishna finishes 10th in qualification round

DHAKA, Feb 18, 2025 (BSS)- Ramkrishna Saha finished at tenth 
position scoring 667 in the recurve men’s singles 
qualification round of the 2025 Asia Cup World Ranking 
tournament, stage-1 held in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday. 

Mishad Prodhan and Md Sagor Islam finished at 17th and 24th 
position respectively among the local archers in this event.

In the women’s singles recurve qualification round, Mosammat 
Eti Khatun and Shima Akter Shimu is ranked in 19th and 51st 
position respectively.

In the recurve men’s team event comprising Ramkrishna Saha, 
Mishad Prodhan and Sagor Islam finished fourth scoring 1992 
while recurve women’s team event comprising Eti Khatun, 
Shima Akter Shimu and Sonali Roy finished ninth scoring 
1852.

The Bangladesh archery team comprising Ramkrishna Saha and 
Eti Khatun in the recurve mixed team event ranked eighth 
position among the eighteen teams scoring 1304.

Compound men’s single event, Himu Bachar finished 19th 
position scoring 696 while Sohel Rana and Newaz Ahmed Rakib 
ranked 26th and 28th position respectively among the local 
archers.

Bonna Akter ranked 29th scoring 678 in the compound women’s 
singles event while Pushpita Jaman and Khurshid Jahan 
finished 40th and 41st position respectively.

Compound men’s team event comprising Himu Bchar, Sohel Rana 
and Newaz Ahmed Rakib finished seventh position while in the 
compound women’s team event comprising Bonna Akter, Pushpita 
Jaman and Khurshid Jahan finished tenth position. 

The Bangladesh archery team comprising Himu Bacher and Bonna 
Akter finished 11th position scoring 1374 in the compound 
mixed team event.
