RANGAMATI, Feb 19, 2025 (BSS)- The final match of Rangamati University of 
Science and Technology (RMSTU) inter-department winter football tournament 
held at central playground of RMSTU on Wednesday.

RMSTU vice chancellor professor Dr Md Atiar Rahman was the chief guest in the 
final, organized by RMSTU physical education department.

Suchna Akhtar, dean of the faculty of business administration of the 
university, Saddam Hossain, the proctor and assistant professor of the 
department of forestry and environmental science, Mossmmat Habiba, chairman 
of the department of tourism and hospitality management, teachers, officials, 
employees and students of various departments of the university including 
Khokaneshwar Tripura, convener of the management committee of the physical 
education department and assistant professor of the tourism and hospitality 
management department were also present.

In the final match, the management department won the tournament title by 
beating tourism and hospitality management department by 3-1 goals.

Students of five departments of the university participated in this football 
competition which started on February 5 last in the university.
