BD Muscle show bodybuilding, fitness championship inaugurated

DHAKA, May 26, 2025 (BSS)- The BD Muscle Show Bodybuilding and Fitness
Championship inaugurated at the International Convention City in Bashundhara
in the capital today (Monday.

Mohammad Abdullah, head of business development of Bashundhara Group,
formally inaugurated the event as the chief guest), said a press release.

More than 1,500 bodybuilders from above 400 clubs, organisations and
universities are taking part in 13 events in six categories of the three-day
competition, organised by the Bangladesh Fitness and Bodybuilding Community.

The categories are-- men's bodybuilding, men's physique, amateur men's
physique, men's classic physique, denim jeans model and female fit model. And
the events are - seven weight classes in bodybuilding, two in men's physique,
one open in amateur men's physique, one open in classic physique, one open in
denim jeans and one open in female fit model.

In addition, the best bodybuilder in the bodybuilding category will receive
the title of overall champion. Along with the main bodybuilding and fitness
event, there will be fashion shows from various brands, live music and a
fitness expo.

Member of Competition Organising Committee Nurul Islam Khan Nayeem said a
brand new 1,500cc private car and a motorbike will be given for the best
bodybuilder in the competition.
 
He said BD Muscle Show is the biggest festival in the bodybuilding world of
Bangladesh. This would take the country's bodybuilding and fitness community
one step forward and take red-green bodybuilding to a new height in the world
arena.

This competition is being planned and organised by the country's fitness and
bodybuilding community.
