DHAKA, May 27, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy emerged as 
group champions to reach semifinals of the Junior Services Kabaddi League 
held at National Kabaddi Stadium in the capital today (Tuesday).

In the day's first quarterfinal, Bangladesh Navy beat Fire Service and Civil 
Defence by 41-34 points after leading the first half by 27-12 points.

Solaiman Hossain of Navy was named the best player of the match for his 
impressive performance.

In the day's second quarterfinal, Bangladesh Army defeated Border Guard 
Bangladesh by 33-23 points after dominating the first half by 18-9 points.

On the other hand, Ibrahim Mollik of Bangladesh Army was named the best 
player of the match for his outstanding performance.

The six services teams-- Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh 
Navy, Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Jail and Fire Service and Civil Defence-- 
split into two groups are taking part in the league.

The final of the league is slated on May 30.
