Cumilla, Bogura move to final of Nat'l School Cricket tournament

DHAKA, May 27, 2025 (BSS)- Cumilla Modern High School and Bogura Police Lines
School moved to the final of the National School Cricket Tournament after 
winning their respective matches in the semifinal game today.

Thanks to Afnan Intehad's brilliant 144 runs, Cumilla crushed Pirojpur 
Government High School by 102 runs at Behara Teguria Cricket Stadium in 
Dhaka.

Afnan's 120 ball-144, laced with 19 fours and six sixes powered Cumilla to an 
imposing 249-8. They defended it well by wrapping up Pirojpur for just 147 in 
38.3 overs with Pranto Debnath claiming 5-25 to wreak havoc.

Bogura Police Lines School, however, secured a 32-run victory over 
Collectorate Collegiate School at National Cricket Ground in Purbachal to 
seal the place in the final. 

Thanks to Akash Roy's 83, player of Bogura Police Lines School who put up 
195-8. In reply, Collectorate Collegiate School were bowled out for 163 in 
40.1 overs.
