DHAKA, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS)- The much-awaited Velociti 15K run will be held at the Hatirjheel Amphitheater in the capital tomorrow.

The 7.5 kilometer and 15 kilometer races for adults will start at 5:30 am while one kilometer run for children will be held at 8 am.

The event is organized by Velociti, a leading sports event management organization. Co-sponsors are Chayabithi Riverview Resort, Easy to Europe and Trip Zik. Gift sponsors are Hat Bakso and Bonoya.

Around 1,500 participants are expected to participate in the competition in three categories (15 km, 7.5 km and 1 km). 

There will be attractive prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the 7.5 km and 15 km runs and the prizes for 4th to 10th will be crests. 

Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, the senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, will be the chief guest in the event.

The organizers said that the main objective of this event is to keep the youth away from drugs and focus on sports, along with increasing fitness and awareness.
