Miraz to miss first two matches of NCL T20

DHAKA, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS) - Allrounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who will be playing 
for Khulna Division in the NCL T20 is set to miss the first two matches of 
the tournament.

Miraz, the ODI captain of Bangladesh, won't play those two matches, largely 
due to be with his wife, who had recently given birth of their second child.

Robiul Islam replaced Miraz for the first two matches in Khulna squad.

The second edition of NCL T20 is all set to roll onto the ground tomorrow 
(Sunday). The trophy was unveiled today in Bogra through a programme.

Rajshahi will take on Dhaka Metro at Rajshahi Stadium while Sylhet will face 
off Rangpur at Bogura Stadium to kick off the tournament. 

Rajshahi and Bogura will host the tournament simultaneously until September 
19 after which the remaining matches including the playoffs and final will 
take place at two venues of Sylhet-Outer Stadium and Sylhet International 
Cricket Stadium.
