Twelve teams finalized for 4th Academy Cup

DHAKA, Sept 15, 2025 (BSS) - Twelve teams from eight divisional regions have been finalised to participate in the 4th Bashundhara Kings BFSF Under-14 Academy Cup, scheduled to be held in December.

The teams were selected through a lottery held in the capital today in the presence of representatives from 18 initially registered teams, said a press release.

The Academy Cup, regarded as one of the notable grassroots football events in the country, will be held this year under the slogan "In search of new talent."

Following the lottery, representatives of the selected teams sat with the organisers to exchange views on various aspects of the tournament.

The Bangladesh Football Supporters Forum is organising the 4th edition of the Academy Cup with the support of the Bangladesh Football Federation and sponsorship from Bashundhara Kings.

The final twelve teams of the Bashundhara Kings BFSF Under-14 Academy Cup 2025 are: 
Firoz Kamal Football Academy, Ashuganj, Brahmanbaria; Mymensingh Udayan Junior Football Academy, Mymensingh; Haryan Football Academy, Rajshahi; Morning Star Football Academy, Lalmonirhat; SB Ali Football Academy, Khulna; Nandanik Sports Academy, Jagannathpur, Sunamganj; Late Farhad Hossain Talukder Memorial Football Academy, Gopalpur, Tangail; Two Star Boda Upazila Football Academy, Panchagarh; Golakandail Football Academy, Rupganj; Bangladesh Boys Club Football Academy, Chattogram; D.S.S. Club, Narayanganj; and Tongi Football Academy, Gazipur.

Grouping of the final twelve teams:

Group A: D.S.S. Club, Narayanganj; Firoz Kamal Football Academy, Ashuganj, Brahmanbaria; Mymensingh Udayan Junior Football Academy, Mymensingh.

Group B: Bangladesh Boys Club Football Academy, Chattogram; Morning Star Football Academy, Lalmonirhat; Tongi Football Academy, Gazipur.

Group C: Two Star Boda Upazila Football Academy, Panchagarh; Late Farhad Hossain Talukder Memorial Football Academy, Gopalpur, Tangail; Golakandail Football Academy, Rupganj.

Group D: Nandanik Sports Academy, Jagannathpur, Sunamganj; SB Ali Football Academy, Khulna; Haryan Football Academy, Rajshahi.
